Is very simple to prepare Father Zago’s recipe. It is just a simple juice made with three ingredients: Aloe Arborescens, honey and distillate.
In this article I will tell you how to make it.
If you are looking for a ready-to-drink Aloe juice, you can order it from the website of the Erbe di Mauro farm that makes it fresh to order following Father Zago’s original recipe directions.
How to prepare Father Romano Zago’s juice – Legend:
Ingredients
These are the ingredients needed to prepare the juice, according to the original recipe of Father Zago:
- 350 g of Aloe Arborescens leaves: the plant must be at least 4 years old;
- 500 g of organic honey;
- 40-50 ml (about a small espresso cup) of distillate (whiskey, or tequila, or gin, or vodka, etc.).
It is not essential to be precise with the quantities, a few more or a few less grams do not make the difference. If you prefer you can put the same amount of Aloe and honey.
If you prefer you can choose to reduce the quantities of the three ingredients, with the undoubted advantage of obtaining a fresher and more effective product every time. All you need to do is reduce proportionally all the ingredients.
The easiest thing is to halve the amount of all the ingredients, like this:
- 175 g of Aloe Arborescens leaves;
- 250 g of organic honey;
- 20-25 ml of distillate.
Aloe Arborescens
It is important to harvest the leaves from an Aloe Arborescens plant that has been biologically cultivated, possibly far from sources of pollution (roads, factories, landfills, etc.) and that has at least 4 years of life. As a matter of fact, an older plant has more properties than a young plant.
Pick the leaves neither too high, because they are too young, neither too low because too old, which will then be yellowed, half dry, or wilted.
It is important that the plant is grown with exposure to the sun, since it is the sunlight that increases the healing properties of Aloe Arborescens. A plant kept in the shade will have less gel, less active ingredients, its leaves will be smaller and consequently the cure will be much less effective.
Why Aloe Arborescens and not Aloe Vera?
Because Aloe Vera or “Barbadensis”, compared to Aloe Arborescens, contains 30% less active ingredients useful for fighting cancer. For this reason, the Arborescens species should be preferred.
Honey
Honey transmits the healing substances contained in the Aloe leaf to the remotest areas of the human organism, allowing the Aloe to exert its beneficial action. It is important to choose an organic honey.
Distillate
Distillate has three important functions.
The first function is of vasodilator. Especially for older people, but this concept is valid for everyone, more dilated blood vessels make the aloe and honey purifying action of the more effective and faster.
The second function is to improve and lengthen the storage time of the product.
The third function is also the most important. One of the most important active ingredients of Aloe is aloin, a viscous and yellowish liquid with laxative and anti-cancer properties. Without honey, the human organism would not be able to absorb aloin in its entirety.
You cannot substitute distillate with wine, beer, pure alcohol or liqueurs.
Aloe leaves harvest
The collection of Aloe Arborescens leaves must be carried out following two fundamental rules.
- First rule. Before harvesting the leaves, the plant should not have been watered for at least 7-8 days. In this way, when we collect the leaves, they will have a greater concentration of active ingredients, thus improving the effectiveness of the product.
- Second rule. The collection should be done when the sun is low (sunrise-sunset), or in complete darkness. The sunlight quickly destroys the active ingredients contained in the leaf, so it is important to cut the leaves when the solar irradiation is poor, or even better absent.
Preparation of the juice
Let’s see now how to make the real Aloe juice following the recipe of Father Romano Zago.
Once the leaves are harvested it is important to be as quick as possible, because over time the Aloe leaves tend to lose their medicinal properties. This is valid for Aloe Arborescens, as for all medicinal plants.
Even the juice preparation is best if done in semi-darkness, because even artificial light can damage the Aloe active ingredients. Once you collect the leaves you can clean them from dust and cobwebs, using a damp or dry cloth, passing it over the two sides of the leaf.
It is very important not to wet the leaves by putting them directly in contact with water.
Once weighed (remember that you need 350 g) proceed by cutting the spikes along each leaf and cutting the leaves into small pieces.
WARNING: remove only the spikes along the leaf, while the rest of the peel must not be removed, as it contains other active ingredients that add up to those contained in the gel.
Then put everything in the blender: 500 g of organic honey, 350 g of Aloe Arborescens leaves and 40-50 ml of distillate (gin, or vodka, or whisky, another distillate). Blend well and the recipe of Father Romano Zago is ready. I should warn you that Aloe is very bitter, but by adding honey it gets much better.
You should neither filter the juice, nor add water. Pour the juice in a glass container, well-sealed and covered with aluminum to prevent the light exposure.
You can store the container in the fridge, possibly in the fruit and vegetable compartment.
Recommended doses
Let’s see now the doses recommended by Father Romano Zago to:
- Treat cancer;
- Prevent cancer.
To treat cancer
The recommended doses are 3 tablespoons of Aloe juice a day, 20-30 minutes before the three main meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Before taking the juice do not forget to shake the container very well.
Father Zago advises to finish all the juice contained in a jar and then make a health check to see the results. If the analysis does not show any improvement, after a pause of 5-10 days, you should restart taking the aloe juice.
This cycle must be repeated as many times as necessary to defeat the cancer. If after the first four attempts the cancer has not even regressed, Father Zago advises to double the doses: two tablespoons three times a day, before each meal.
To prevent cancer
The recommended dosage to prevent cancer is the same as to cure cancer, but just repeat this operation once a year, for 20 days in a row.
Where to buy the ready-to-drink juice?
What if I do not have the time, or the chance to make my own juice at home, where could I buy it?
This is one of the most frequent questions asked to me.
Luckily, it is possible to buy the ready juice easily on the internet. There are several companies in Europe that have started to cultivate Aloe Arborescens and produce juices for therapeutic use, using the ingredients and dosages recommended by Father Romano Zago.
Among these, I would recommend the purchase of the product made by the Erbe di Mauro farm, located in Fermo (Italy).
The Erbe di Mauro farm makes a 100% organic high quality product, which meets all the requirements of Father Romano Zago’s recipe (exact proportion of ingredients, leaves collected and processed in the dark, etc.), and offers absolutely the cheapest product on the market.
