Another disease that can be successfully treated with the help of Aloe Arborescens is cystitis.

In this article I will explain why Aloe Arborescens is so effective and how it should be taken in order to heal quickly and naturally from this annoying disease.

But to heal from a disease, first you need to understand its nature and especially the causes.

So, before we get into the heart of the subject, let me briefly summarize what cystitis is and what causes this disorder.

What is cystitis?

Cystitis is an uncomfortable inflammation of the bladder, which can lead to the following symptoms:

  • Difficulty in urination;
  • Feeling of not having completely emptied the bladder;
  • Continuous need to urinate;
  • Sometimes blood loss with urine;
  • Fever.

In most cases cystitis affects women.

Why are women most affected?

The main cause is due to the different anatomical conformation of the last excretory tract in the woman compared to the man, the urethra.

The shortness of the female urethra measuring about 3-4 cm and the proximity to the vagina and rectum are factors of greater risk and higher prevalence of urinary tract infection in women.

The Causes of Cystitis

Very often cystitis is of bacterial origin and in 85% of cases the person responsible is a bacterium that normally resides in our intestines: Escherichia coli

However, I would like to dwell on one point, which is generally not discussed much, or at all.

It is almost always blamed only and exclusively on the bacterium, without however understanding the true origin of the problem.

What’s that?

Immune defenses compromised.

When our immune system is active and working well, we hardly get sick.

On the contrary, when the immune system is weakened due, very often, to poor nutrition, or a wrong lifestyle, we become easy prey to viruses, fungi and bacteria.

It’s no coincidence I’m talking about poor nutrition. You need to know that much of the immune system is located right in our gut.

Damaging the intestine, consuming junk foods, fried foods, smoked foods, or foods that are not suitable for humans (such as cow’s milk and gluten) every day, can significantly alter our bacterial flora and cause what is defined as permeable bowel syndrome.

This is what happens when the intestine becomes “Permeable

As has also been seen in fairly recent studies, this condition is the basis of numerous chronic and degenerative diseases, but it is also fertile ground for very common infections, such as urinary tract infections.

So if your cystitis relapses and comes back on time after a long course of antibiotics, you may have intestinal permeability.

In this case, it would be good practice to be followed by a good nutritionist, who is able to cure the origin of the problem, starting from a change in eating habits.

Having said that, Aloe Arborescens is an excellent supplement for the diet and now I will explain why.

Treat cystitis with Aloe

Aloe, and in particular Aloe Arborescens, is undoubtedly one of the most effective natural remedies for the treatment of urinary tract infections.

Aloe Arborescens is a plant known and used for centuries in some countries of Africa and South America.

Unlike Aloe Vera, the recipe for the preparation of the juice, which I will talk about in the next paragraph, involves the use of the whole leaf and not only the gel.

This is because many of the most important active ingredients are present in the skin of Aloe.

The reason why this plant is so special is due to the considerable variety of nutrients (vitamins, minerals, polyphenols, polysaccharides, amino acids, enzymes, saponins, etc.) contained within its leaves.

No other being in the plant kingdom is able to match this wealth.

And this makes Aloe a sort of “natural medicine” that acts on several levels on our body, not only curing a specific disorder, but the body as a whole.

For this reason Aloe is also very effective in the treatment of many degenerative disorders and tumors.

It is no coincidence that in the poor countries of the Favelas, where people do not have the opportunity to buy medicines, Aloe Arborescens is the main treatment for many diseases, including Cancer.

But let’s look more specifically at why Aloe Arborescens is so effective in cystitis.

  • Antibacterial action: thanks to the presence of anthraquinone glycosides (such as aloin), aloe has an extraordinary antibiotic, bactericidal and germicidal power. This makes it particularly effective in all cases of bacterial infection, such as Escherichia coli.
  • Anti-inflammatory action: Aloe contains acetylsalicylic acid, the same substance extracted from the willow bark and used to produce aspirin. Furthermore, acemannan itself is famous for its anti-inflammatory action on all mucous membranes and as well as for soothing stomach and intestinal pains, it is very useful for reducing the inflammatory state of the bladder and prostate (in humans).
  • Purifying action: Aloe arborescens juice is particularly suitable for purifying the liver and intestines. In fact, from the first intake you can notice an improvement in the evacuation of faeces and an increase in diuresis, or the two main means by which the body is free of slag and toxins. This also facilitates the elimination of all those substances, such as poorly digested food, which is a direct cause of the condition we have already talked about, known as intestinal permeability.
  • It nourishes the intestinal flora: the skin and, to a lesser extent, the gel, are rich in soluble fibres, which constitute the main nourishment of the good bacteria that inhabit our intestines. This means that consuming Aloe Arborescens juice is a great way to strengthen the intestinal macrobiome, which in turn represents one of the main bulwarks against infections and disorders of various kinds.

The benefits listed represent only the “tip of the iceberg” of the advantages obtainable from a regular intake of Aloe Arborescens juice.

For this reason, Aloe is so effective in the treatment of cystitis, as well as many other diseases, even much more serious and problematic.

How to take Aloe Arborescens

Now we see better how to prepare and how to take the juice of Aloe Arborescens.

I’m talking about a juice to drink of course and for this to be effective, it will be prepared using the Aloe leaf in its entirety, without discarding the skin!

It is mistakenly believed that the noblest part of Aloe’s leaf is the gel. In fact, most of the active ingredients useful to the body are found right in the skin.

The recipe that allows you to have the best benefits from Aloe is that of the famous Brazilian friar, Father Romano Zago. This recipe involves making a very simple smoothie using these three ingredients:

  • 350g of whole leaves of Aloe Arborescens;
  • 500g of natural honey from bees;
  • 3-4 tablespoons grappa (or other distillate).

The recipe itself seems quite simple, but there are some aspects that you need to take into account.

In the following article I explain exactly how the recipe should be prepared and what are the basic requirements to be met, in order to obtain the maximum benefits.

Contraindications

Aloe Arborescens juice is to be avoided for pregnant and lactating women.

In people with serious colon problems, such as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, it is preferable to use a purified juice of aloin and anthraquinone substances (with a strong laxative action).

It is contraindicated if you are taking anticoagulant drugs.

Where to buy Aloe juice?

The farm Erbe di Mauro, in addition to selling plants, produces to order fresh juices of Aloe Arborescens, made following all the indications of Father Romano Zago.

It is a 100% organic and natural product, without preservatives, produced using exclusively leaves of Aloe Arborescens, organic honey and grappa, in the ways and proportions recommended by Father Zago himself. The farm, for those who want it, also produces juices in non-alcoholic versions and in concentrated and super-concentrated versions, with more Aloe and less honey.

Other natural remedies for cystitis

Nature is generous and offers us many other useful solutions to cure and prevent the onset of cystitis.

However, most of these remedies act specifically and locally.

For this reason, I advise you to combine one or two of these remedies, with the regular intake of Aloe which, unlike the remedies mentioned here, acts 360° on the whole body and not only locally.

1. Cranberries.

One of the most used remedies in case of cystitis is cranberry.

In fact, it seems that cranberries are particularly effective in preventing some families of bacteria, and in particular Escherichia coli, from adhering to and colonizing the mucous membranes that line the urinary tract.

Cranberries can be eaten fresh during the ripening period (between July and August) and in the remaining months as dehydrated fruits, or as juices.

2. Blackcurrant and Horsetail

Blackcurrant is used for leaves, while Horsetail is used for the entire aerial part of the sterile stem.

They are both remedies that stimulate diuresis and act by deflating the entire urinary system. They can be taken as a herbal tea, decoction, hydroalcoholic extract, or as a powder.

3. Epilobio parviflorum

This plant, whose leaves and flowers are used, is very appreciated for the treatment of all those disorders that affect the prostate (prostatitis, prostate hypertrophy, etc.).

However, it is also very effective to flame the bladder. Epilobio parviflorum should be taken as a herbal tea.
